Organizational Information
Welcome to the logistical hub for the NFDI4LS conference! Whether you are arriving by train, looking for your hotel, or trying to find the lecture hall, this guide will help you navigate between our two primary locations: Gatersleben (Conference Venue) and Quedlinburg (Accommodation & Social Events).
Main Conference Venue (Gatersleben)
Section titled “Main Conference Venue (Gatersleben)”All sessions, keynotes, and poster presentations will take place at the IPK campus in Gatersleben.
If you are arriving by train, the Gatersleben Train Station is a brief 10 to 15-minute walk to the main campus. We have highlighted the recommended walking route in blue on the map below. For those taking the shuttle, buses will drop you off at the Northern Gate, which is just a 3-minute walk from the main Lecture Hall.
Accommodation & Social Events (Quedlinburg)
Section titled “Accommodation & Social Events (Quedlinburg)”Our hotel recommendatations and social excursions are located in the historic town of Quedlinburg.
If you are arriving via the Quedlinburg Train Station, both of our hotel recommendatations are within walking distance. Shuttle buses to the Gatersleben venue will depart daily from two designated pickup spots (Acron Hotel and Carl Ritter Square).
Additionally, please note the starting point for our historic City Tour, which will seamlessly conclude at our designated Conference Dinner location.
